THROWBACK 2019: Celebrating the achievements of local youth

JULY 2019:

The 2019 Condobolin Youth Deadly Awards were held at the Condobolin RSL Club on Friday, 12 July.
Held as part of NAIDOC celebrations, the Awards are a way of congratulating the youth of Condobolin for their outstanding achievements throughout the last 12 months.
The Awards were divided into categories such as academic, sport, culture, art, leadership. Wiradjuri Condobolin Corporation Seniors Award, the Aboriginal Medical Service Shield for Overall Achievement and the Condobolin RSL Club Community Participation Award.
Master of Ceremonies for the night was Marion Wighton.
The Academic Awards were presented to Alexis Merritt, Oscar Charters, Jermaine Davis, Billie O’Bryan, Suede Sloane and Mya Tangye.
Braith Sloane, Taleah Capewell, Toby Denyer, Danielle Hoskins, Noah Wighton and Taya Donovan received the Sports Awards.
The Culture/Art Awards went to Charli Coe, Joseph Packham, Kaidan Atkinson, Anna-Rose Smith, Quade Peterson and Sienna Smith.
Leadership Awards were presented to Mykle Coe, Indianna Lemmon, Shaylee Saunders, Corey Herbert, Hunni Coe-Johnstone and Rashard Kirby.
The Project Bridge Seniors Awards were received by Toby Denyer and Tattrearna Capewell.
The Condobolin RSL Club Community Participation Awards were given to Chontelle Dargin and Ezekiel Sauerbier.
Tiffiney Dodds was the winner of the Aboriginal Medical Centre Shield for Overall Achievement Award.
The Condobolin Youth Deadly Awards are supported by Western Plains Regional Development, Central West Family Support Group, NSW Government Aboriginal Affairs, Condobolin RSL Club, Condobolin Aboriginal Health Service and Wiradjuri Condobolin Corporation in partnership with the Condobolin NAIDOC Committee.
