THE PINK GALAH HOSTS SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS
On Thursday 7th July, The Pink Galah, a local passion project run by Sig Peters, hosted some art workshops for the school holidays at Cobar.
The day started with a morning session for ages 5-11 years. The kids painted a vibrant underwater scene with silhouetted underwater animals. The workshop focused on light, blending, perspective, silhouette, shape and tone. The children were excited to choose their underwater creatures to feature in their artwork.
Later in the afternoon, an older group had the chance to create some collage mountains. They started by creating their own paper/patterns with paint, pastels and ink. Some chose to paint mountains between the collage pieces.
All had an amazing time during their workshops.
