NATIVE PLANT IDENTIFICATION
Fourteen locals attended the Central West Local Land Services (CWLLS) native plant identification and management workshop held at a Condobolin property recently. The workshop gave landholders the skills and knowledge to identify native plants and tips on how to manage those species to improve on farm production and biodiversity. Landholder James Leigo told attendees how he had managed various problems on his place such as galvanised burr.
“The learnings were well received with one attendee commenting that hearing how someone else had successfully managed vegetation and having LLS to explain the fundamentals really value-added to the day,” the CWLLS said.
