MALLEEFOWL ID AND NEST/MOUND MONITORING TRAINING – CONDOBOLIN – FRIDAY, 20 MARCH
Do you know what a Malleefowl is or how to identify it and its nest or mound? A Malleefowl ID and Nest/Mound Monitoring Training will take place in the Condobolin Library Meeting Room on Friday, 20 March from 9am to 4pm. Participants will be able to learn more about identification of the bird, its mound and its habitat and gain on-ground monitoring skills.
They will also be able to find out about new technology that can be used to help monitor the species. Training will cover how the community can help preserve this unique bird and support the national recovery effort. Morning tea and lunch provided.
