ATTENTION FARMERS – EMERGENCY DROUGHT TRANSPORT SUBSIDY NSW ENDING SEPTEMBER
The Emergency Drought Transport Subsidy provides drought affected farmers with a subsidy to help with the costs of transporting fodder, water, stock, chemicals, fertiliser and seeds.
Subsidies may be used to transport: Stock to and from agistment; Stock to sale or slaughter; Fodder or water to stock on drought affected properties; or Farm chemicals, fertiliser and seed to farms. Subsidies of up to 50% of the total freight cost, to a maximum of $7.50 per kilometre (GST exclusive) are available.
