Community enjoy chatting and chilling
Lachlan and Western Regional Services have been hosting ‘Chat and Chill’ sessions, aimed at building connections and focusing on well-being. “This is the perfect opportunity for the community to get out of the house and catch up with a friend and build new connections,” a post on the Lachlan and Western Regional Services Inc Facebook Page read. The ‘Chat and Chill’ program was funded by Australia Post and were run on Tuesday mornings since 19 November. During the second last session for 2024, participants had a lovely morning doing gentle aqua. “Thank you everyone for coming and joining the fun. Adults spend a lot of time caring for others and it’s nice to take some much needed ‘me’ time,” a post on the Lachlan and Western Regional Services Inc Facebook Page said (10 December). The last of the ‘Chat and Chill’ sessions was held on Tuesday, 17 December. Image Credits: Lachlan and Western Regional Services Inc Facebook Page.
