Zac to play in T20 Youth Championships in India

Condobolin’s Zac Grimmond has been drafted in the Eastern Bulls Cricket Academy Melbourne T20 Under 18’s side to play in India.
He will join Head Coach Seb Contos and Dylan Weeding and compete in the T20 Youth competition in Delhi, playing against local Indian academies and the Brisbane-based Century Cricket Team, Moreton Magic.
Zac will be the wicket keeper and one of the opening batsman. The tour will take place from 2 April until 11 April, Zac is the son of Jessica Marshall and the late Luke Grimmond. He is the grandson of Anne and Graham Grimmond (Condobolin) the late Susan Mensforth.
The is set to an unforgettable experience for Zac, as forges his way to his dream of playing at the highest level.
Zac is looking forward to travelling to India and experiencing everything the tour has to offer, including building on his skill set and making new friends. Zac’s mum Jessica and brother Josh will accompany him on tour.
The games will be livestreamed, and the team will play mix of night and day T20 games through the tour.
He plays cricket in the Condobolin Junior Cricket Association Under 17’s, Condobolin Senior Men’s Cricket and represents The Western Outlaws (Under 18’s).
While Zac is forging his own path, his late father Luke instilled the love of the game into his son from an early age. Luke represented and captained the Australian Navy and Australian Defence Forces services over multiple carnivals and tours which included the United Kingdom and New Zealand. He was considered a handy batsman and a phenomenal wicket keeper.
