Condobolin Diggers Swimming Club hosted the Western Districts AIF Carnival on Sunday, 9 February.
Local swimmers shone in the pool, winning two first places, and one second place in the relay events.
“What a wonderful day we have had. Condo cleaned up in the pool either winning or placing in some of the events. The relays are where we really shone,” a post on the Condobolin Diggers Swimming Club Facebook Page read.
“I would like to thank all our members who helped make the day happen. Thank you to the Condobolin business houses for your kind donations. We look forward to seeing all the Clubs all in Cobar in 2026.”
The annual event was started to celebrate the service of men and women in the Returned Services and provides an opportunity to develop friendly competition amongst swimmers of all levels.
It is open to all Clubs across the region, with 90 swimmers from Condobolin, Cobar, Nyngan, Wellington, Parkes, and Dubbo all taking the opportunity to dive into the competition.
