Two Condobolin High School students have been recognised for their outstanding achievements, receiving Director’s Awards as part of this year’s Public Education Week celebrations.
On behalf of West Wyalong Network Director, Educational Leadership, Mr Benn Wright, Condobolin High School Principal Mrs Wendy Scarce presented the awards to Suede Sloane and Anica Lumanta. Suede received the award in recognition of commitment and dedication to excellence in academic pursuits, while Anica was recognised for consistently demonstrating high standards across all aspects of school life. The Director’s Awards acknowledge students who exemplify the values of NSW public education through their commitment, achievement and contribution to their school community.Public Education Week, held from August 3 to 7, celebrates the achievements of NSW public schools, students, teachers and staff. The annual event highlights the strength and diversity of public education while recognising the important role schools play in supporting every student to learn, grow and succeed. The 2026 Public Education Week theme was ‘Inspiring Excellence’.
