The Mayfield Hotel Australia Day event was nominated for Lachlan Shire Event of the Year Award. The award was presented to the ‘Unveiling of the Tullibigeal lades Fire Truck’. The following is the summary read at the ceremony.
Every year on Australia Day Greg and Louis put on a great Australia Day celebration with things to do for young and old. Each year families enjoy yabbie races, gumboot throwing competition, weetbix eating competition, tug o war, bushmen’s relay and many more.
This event is not only getting bigger and better every year they host an inclusive event bringing people together from far and wide to celebrate our National Day.
