A hail storm hit the local area on Saturday, 13 August. Pellets of frozen rain fell hard across parts of the Condobolin area, causing concerns for farmers and those using local roads. It is believed a road train hit a patch of hail on one local road, and overturned. It is also believed the road was closed for a time while clean up took place and that the driver was transported to Orange for further treatment. Images Contributed.
