Condobolin Sports Club Golf

Saturday we had a great field of 40 contest the Moncrieff Livestock and Property trophies. Thanks Box for your support. We tried a brand new game of 4b 1,2 which seemed to go well. Winners of the day were Allan Rice and his grandson Riley Keen with 72 points. Riley beat a lot of teams by himself having 49 points. Runners up were Zac Yeomans and Paddy Ward with 60 points. Ball comp winners G Nagle and J Smith, B Hurley and J Dargan, D Norris and L Coombs, M and V Hanlon with 57 points the cut off.

Up coming events – the 4b matchplay will have to go on hold until we can play in 4s again, next Saturday we will follow the programme and play the September monthly medal for the Nick Packham trophies, and also the first round of the Beattie family matchplay.

Then on Sunday we will play the Naggers Cup and Odds and Sods, again we’ll be going in twos, so the air could get a bit frosty there with no ice breakers to bounce off.

Thanks to everyone for obeying the golf covid rules, it was a great day on the course, we are very lucky.
