Fashions in the Field

The annual Fashions on the Field contest at the Condobolin Picnic Races attracts the most stylish of race goers year after year.
Four fashion titles will be up for grabs at the 2025 Condobolin Picnic Races and are sure to keenly contested.
The judge for Fashions on the Field is Condobolin’s own Gabby Neal, founder and creative director of sustainable merino wool fashion label “INTACT.”
Gabby will mingle with the crowd throughout the day, selecting contenders for the Fashions on the Field competition. Once selected, contenders must report to the Fashions Marquee when called
upon to show off their fabulous attire.
The 2025 Condobolin Picnic Races Fashions on the Field categories are:
Millinery Award: Judges will be on the lookout for a spectacular hat or headpiece, with style and originality. It must make an overall statement and compliment the outfit.
Best Dressed Lady: Modern racing attire will be key to this category, with a unique outfit in tune with the latest in racing fashion trends likely to catch the judge’s eye. A hat or headpiece, complete with accessories
to top off the outfit, is also a must.
Best Dressed Gentleman: The Best Dressed Gentleman will be well groomed and smartly dressed, wearing a suit or coat and tie. Hats or accessories to match will also be highly regarded by
the judges.
Best Dressed Country Couple: The best dressed couple will show overall style and elegance in their race attire.
