DEBUTANTE BALL 2022

On the night of Friday 20th May, Tullibigeal held a very successful Combined Churches Debutante Ball.
A large crowd came to witness 7 lovely debs be presented into society.
The main flower girls for the evening were Miss Leah Bendall and Miss Isabella Fair. Mrs Leanne Frankel was the Matron of Honour for the evening, representing the Catholic Church. Leanne looked truly elegant in her black Melbourne designer gown. The gown featured a sweetheart neckline with satin ties and a fitted bodice. The full-length outfit was adorned in a glamorous netted sequin fabric.
Leanne was accompanied by the official party, the Mayor of the Lachlan Shire Mr John Medcalf OAM and Mrs Jane Medcalf, Mrs Jean Worland from the Uniting Church, Father Dominic from the Catholic Church, Father Paul representing the Anglican Church and Mr and Mrs Barry and Vicki Carruthers. The ball was officially opened by the Mayor, John Medcalf OAM.
The debs then danced the Roselee Rumba and then the Pride of Erin with their parents. The debs have been trained by Vicki and Barry Carruthers who did a fantastic job. Music was supplied by Duble from Griffith, flowers by Thom Dick and Harrys of West Wyalong, cake made and decorated by Maddie Frankel from Tullibigeal and photos by Bohemian Wild in West Wyalong. Organisers were Lisa Bendall, Hannah Prince and Deidre Fyfe. They were very happy with the way the night proceeded.
The first debutante for the evening was Miss Ella Waters of Lake Cargelligo, she was partnered by Mr Edward Williams. She is the daughter of Mrs Alice Hargraves and Mr Norm Hargraves of Lake Cargelligo and Mr Chris Waters from Perth. Edward is the son of Katie Preston of Lake Cargelligo and Peter Williams of Queensland. Ella was accompanied by her flower girl and page boy, Miss River Hargraves and Master Heath O’Connor both of Lake Cargelligo. River is the daughter of Miss Chloe Hargraves and Mr Brock Phillips and Heath is the Son of Mr and Mrs Dan and Kate O’Connor. Ella wore a stunning A-Line style gown with a soft flowing tulle skirt. The bodice features intricate lace detailing which obscured a plunge illusion and framed the lovely open scoop back.
Tilli Wood of West Wyalong was partnered for the evening by Mr Bobby Jones of North Yalgogrin. Tilli is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Geoff and Sarah Wood of West Wyalong. Bobby is the son of Mr and Mrs Jack and Leah Jones of North Yalgogrin. Miss Evie McKinnon was her flowergirl and pageboy Master Lachie Prince. Evie is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Jamie and Corey McKinnon and Lachie is the son of Mr and Mrs Nick and Hannah Prince of Tullibigeal. Tilli wore a close-fitting gown that featured princess seams that flared at the bottom forming a mermaid hemline. It had an open back that was laced. Off the shoulder bands with shoestring straps were a feature of the gown.
Charlee Jones of North Yalogrin was partnered by Macauley Spackman of West Wyalong. She is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Jack and Leah Jones also of North Yalgogrin and Macauley is the Son of Mr and Mrs Kate Spackman of West Wyalong. Charlee was joined by her flower girl and page boy, Miss Willow Pilon of West Wyalong and Master Ted Price of Tullibigeal. Charlee wore a lovely sheath style gown made of a luxury sequin patterned fabric. The gown featured a sweetheart neckline and middle split detail that added to the classic elegance of the look.
Lilli Smith was accompanied by Jack Jamieson, both from West Wyalong. Lilli is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Warwick and Trudi Smith of West Wyalong and Jack is the son of Karen Ridley and Keith Jamison of West Wyalong. Flower girl Miss Letti Hart was partnered by her brother Master Nixon Hart of West Wyalong. Letti and Nixon are the daughter and son of Mr and Mrs Aaron and Marnie Hart. Lilli wore a classically simple shoestring strapped gown from Designer Tina Holly. The beautiful luxe leaves and sequin lace overlay accentuated the stunning v plunge neckline and lace up back.
Juliet King was partnered for the evening by Mr Codan Frankel, both of Tullibigeal. Juliet is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Graham and Allyson King of Tullibigeal and Codan is the son of Mr and Mrs Christopher and Leanne Frankel of Tullibigeal. The next flower girl was Miss Chloe Foster partnered by Master Avery Imrie. Chloe is the daughter of Ms Melanie Cross from Tullibigeal, and Avery is the son of Mr and Mrs Broden and Brooke Imrie of Lake Cargelligo. Juliet wore a beautiful gown by Drop-Dead Gorgeous. The bodice features pearls and crystals to the waistline with a lace up back and a very full ballerina tulle skirt that fell from the waistline.
Miss Elly Ireland was partnered by Mr Damon Imrie, both of Tullibigeal. Elly is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Luke and Kelly Tyack of Tullibigeal and Mr and Mrs Michael and Hayley Ireland of Condobolin. Damon is the son of Ms Telea Imrie of Tullibigeal. She was accompanied by her page boys Master Tommy Tyack and Master Ryder Ireland. Tommy is the son of Mr and Mrs Luke, and Kelly Tyack of Tullibigeal and Ryder is the son of Mr and Mrs Michael and Hayley Ireland of Condobolin. Elly wore a Sorella Vita Gown of satin. The v neck top featured thin shoestring straps. The A line floor length chiffon skirt flowed from the waist.
The last debutante for the evening was Miss Sophie Jones of Condobolin. Sophie was escorted by Mr Riley Glasgow of Tullibigeal.Sophie is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Craig and Zena Jones of Condobolin and Riley is the son of Mr and Mrs Troy and Mandy Glasgow of Tullibigeal. Miss Meg Browne and Master Lewi Hall accompanied Sophie on the night. Meg is the daughter of Brenton and Hayley Browne of Tullibigeal, and Lewi is the son of Ryan Hall and Ms Monique Whitbread of Condobolin. Sophie wore a flattering gown made by Misara Designs. This beautiful white gown featured a deep plunging neckline with delicate shoulder straps, forming into lacing across its open back and tying into a bow at the fitted waistline. The bodice was covered with guipure lace applique that fell softly onto a trumpet shaped, floor length skirt.
