Danial gets nominated
Danial Wallace was nominated for Citizen of the Year. The award was presented to Janelle Ireland.
Below is Dan’s summary.
Dan identifies as an Aboriginal and does his best to keep the traditions within the town of Fifield. Dan is a trusted local and has resided in Fifield since 2017 having great relationships with all members of the community.
Dan has taken on the president role of the Back to Fifield Progress Committee since 2022 and has organised and ran the Back to Fifield Reunion in 2023 which included the unveiling the 3 time-capsules in the park. Dan arranged for a community mower to be placed in Fifield and assists with other community members to keep the town mowed and tidy on a regular basis. Dan assisted with getting the new fencing at the local Fifield Park and always ensures the footy oval is neat and tidy for visitors.
Dan is considered be a great community resource and someone who improves the quality of life in the community.
