CPS students recognised for their efforts

Condobolin Public School students were acknowledged for their academic and sporting achievements at a Presentation Day on Thursday, 12 December.
The day began with a Welcome to Country, which was delivered by 2024 School Captain Murray Worthington. This was followed by a welcome to special guests and the singing of the School Song.
Relieving Principal Mrs Lorraine Farrugia then gave the Principal’s address.
It was then time for the announcement of awardees.
Mrs Jones announced the winners of the 2E Awards, while Mr Edwards presented them to students.
Indi Worland (English), Lilly Anderson (Mathematics) and Elias Saunders Chatfield (Wiradjuri Award – Sport) were the recipients.
Mrs Jones presented the 1/2G Awards, while Ms Geeves presented. The winners were Samuel Ritchie (English), Jordan Small (Mathematics) and Elise Taylor (Wiradjuri Award – Creative Arts).
Billy Wright (English), Eli Thorpe (Mathematics) and Layla Watt (Wiradjuri Award – Creative Arts) were the award winners in 1H. Mrs McGrath announced the awards, while Miss Hull presented.
Mrs Jones presented the KB Awards with Miss Black presenting. Hayden Leslie (English), Marco Dunn (Mathematics) and Jaxxon Daniels (Wiradjuri Award – Cultural) were announced as awardees.
Nora Brown (English), Malcolm Whitla (Mathematics) and Kenzie Atkinson (Wiradjuri Award – Academic) were the award recipients in Class KM. Mrs Jones announced, while Mrs Horvat and Mrs McGrath presented.
Mrs Farrugia announced the winners of the 3/4C Awards, while Miss Crimmins presented them to students. Zayne Hunter (English), Kaylee Bamblett (Mathematics) and Ellie Dwyer (Wiradjuri Award – Creative Arts).
Dante Lopez (English), Toby Newell (Mathematics) and Sharnay Hines (Wiradjuri Award – ) were the 3/4KW award winners. Mar Farrugia announced the recipients, while Mrs King and Mrs Worthington presented.
Mrs Farrugia announced the winners of the 3/4FS Awards, while Mrs Fyfe presented. Pippa Newell (English), Adhiraj Brar (Mathematics) and Kylani Reynolds (Wiradjuri Award – Creative Arts).
Mrs Jones announced Awards to the Stage Three Classes.
For 5/6B, the winners were Haylee Bell (English), Dominic Preuss (Mathematics) and Janayah Johnson (Wiradjuri Award – Cultural). Miss Buchanen presented the awards.
Mrs Newell presented the 5/6B Awards. Stella Jarick (English), Wentworth Lark (Mathematics) and Avah Kirby (Wiradjuri Award – Academic).
In 5/6R, Ashleigh Thomas (English), Macauley Packham (Mathematics) and Kelsey Atkinson (Wiradjuri Award) all received accolades. Miss Richards handed out the prizes.
Mrs Porter presented the K6P awards to J’Lee Hines (English), Aroha Wichman (Mathematics) and Jacob George (Wiradjuri Award – Cultural).
Mrs Johnson presented Tyrone Coe with a Wiradjuri Award (Academic). Tyrone is in Class K6J.
In K6D, Miss Davies presented prizes to Jayden George (English), Max Packham (Mathematics) and Kaidan Powell (Wiradjuri Award – Cultural).
Rubie Haworth presented the Consistent Efforts Awards to Stage Three recipients Emily Hayburn, Willam Nash, Harvey McFadyen and Jospeh Fitgerald. Stage Two Awardees were Hadlee Lark, Pippa Wainwright, Jackson Bennett and Bentley Brown. Stage One winners were Jarren Windsor, Elijah Fatafehi and Caylee Loftus. Early Stage One recipients were Jack Edgerton and Josiah Coe Yates.
Haylee Bell announced the Key Learning Area of Choice Awards (other than English or Mathematics). The Stage Three awardees were Suede Sloane (CAPA), Pippa Smith (Science) and Benjamin Scarce (PDHPE). Chad Worland (PDHPE), Sienna Small (PDHPE), Zarla Windsor (CAPA), Max Packham (Science), Skylah Kirk (Creative Arts) and Barrikye Towney (Science) were Stage Two winners. Stage On Awardees were Maddox Stewart (PFHPE), Maggie Smith (Science) and Harriet Fyfe (Creative Arts). Aylah Hawkins (Creative Arts) and Harrison Mills (Creative Arts) were the Early Stage One recipients.
Landon Windsor announced the Sportsmanship Awards. Stage Three Awardees were Shyarlah Solomon, Murray Worthington, Izayah Kirby Calliss and Graham Wighton. Gabrielle Curry, Rory Anderson and Addison Crammond were the Stage Two winners. Stage One Awardees were Lachlan Worthington, Bonnie Bendall and Mia Grogan. Archie Johnson and Max Firth were the Early Stage One recipients.
Stella Jarick announced the Attedance Awards. Mrs Farrugia presented Suede Sloane, Pippa Newell, Harriet Fyfe and Malcolm Whitla with 100 Per Cent Attendance Awards.
The King Family Award is presented to a Year Six student who has achieved representation in ay Western Region Area sports teams, the most number of times during their time at Condobolin Public School. Mrs Kim King presented this award to Murray Worthington.
The Roy Butler (Member for Barwon) Book Award for Commitment to School went to Wentworth Lark.
The Condobolin Branch of the CWA Star Award was won by Winter Ritchie Hall.
Harvey McFadyen took home the AA Blatch School Spirit Courtesy Character Award.
The Aspire Group from University of NSW (Faculty of Engineering) Certificate of Merits were awarded to Macauley Packham and Haylee Bell.
Izayah Kirby-Calliss received the Premiers Sporting Challenge Sportsmanship Award.
The Condobolin Public School Sportsmanship Award was won by Murray Worthington.
Stella Jarick was chosen as the Condobolin Public School Citizenship Award recipient.
Director of Education Leadership Mrs Karen Burke addressed the Presentation Day Assembly before presenting the Director of Education Leadership Award. This was given to William Nash.
Rose Collins was named 2024 DUX of Condobolin Public School.
The Sports House Captains were also announced at the event.
The Sports Captains for Kendall Rory Packham and Bailey Prince. In Lawson the Sports Captains were named as Harlow Smith and Dirk Riach. Patterson Sports Captains are Cleo Whiley and Quade Peterson. In Gilmore Levi Daure and Logan Crammond are the Sports Captains.
The 2024 Condobolin Public School Leadership Group was announced. Harvey McFadyen and Winter Ritchie Hall were named Captains, while Pippa Smith and Wentworth Lark were named Vice Captains. Suede Sloane and Siarah Glasson were announced as Prefects.
Mrs Farrugia recognised staff who were moving on from Condobolin Public School. These staff members were Mr Manvell, Mr Edwards, Miss Crimmins and Mrs Elliott. She thanked them for their contribution to the school and wished them all the best for the future.
Condobolin Public School recognised Mrs Kim King for her contributions to the educational facility at the annual Presentation Day on Thursday, 12 December. Mrs King has been an educator for 41 years. She was presented with a beautiful bunch of flowers as a token of appreciation from the school.
The Condobolin Public School Presentation Day concluded with a farewell from the 2024 School Leadership team and the singing of the National Anthem.
