Council donation and event support

Do you know of an event you feel would benefit from a funding boost?
Round One of the 2025 Lachlan Shire Council Community Donation and Event Support Program funding is now open.
“Council is looking forward to receiving applications to support a range of community events, organisations and individuals again this year,” a Lachlan Shire Council statement said.
“Each year, Council makes provision in its budget for the Community Donation and Event Support Program. This program provides financial and in-kind assistance to community or not for profit organisations and individuals who reside in the Lachlan Shire. Council opens the Program for applications twice each year during March and August and encourages all donation and event support requests to be submitted during a funding round.”
The first round for 2025 opened on 1 March and closes on 15 April. Community members who apply during this time will be notified of the outcome of their application at the end of May.
Requests must be submitted in writing or on the relevant application form found on Council’s website.
Prior to completing an application, applicants should check the eligibility criteria in Council’s Community Donation and Event Support Policy. Information about the Program, including a copy of the policy and application form can be found on Council’s website www.lachlan.nsw.gov.au/Community/Grants-and-Donations
Applications must be received by 4:30pm on 15 April 2025. They can be submitted by email to council@lachlan.nsw.gov.au, hand delivered to a Council office or posted to Lachlan Shire Council, PO Box 216 Condobolin NSW 2877.
For further information please contact Council’s Corporate and Community Services Administration Officer, Marie Roussety on (02) 6895 1900.
