Condobolin Junior Cricket Association Under 17’s 2024/25 season came to an end in a close semi-final against Forbes. The teams played on the SRA Turf Pitch, with Condobolin getting off to a shaky start. Forbes kept the pressure on, and bowled Condobolin out for 79. In response Forbes kept putting runs on the board at a steady pace. The game came down to the 22nd over (24 over game), where Forbes hit the winning runs. Coach Craig Venables said he was proud of the team’s effort, as they looked down and out at the drinks break, but held their nerves, and really put in a big bowling performance, to nearly take the win in the final overs.
