Condobolin High School Ball Celebrates the Glamour of Past Eras

By Melissa Blewitt

Condobolin High School (CHS) students stepped back in time on Friday, 24 July, when the school’s annual Ball transformed the evening into a celebration of the classic charm and sophistication of days gone by.
Held at the Condobolin RSL Club under the theme of ‘Glamour of Past Eras’, the Ball provided students with an opportunity to dress in their finest attire and embrace the distinctive styles of decades gone by.
Brody Vaeau and Aaliyah Kirby were named King and Queen of the 2026 Ball; while Damien Rosberg and Kelsey Atkinson were declared Prince and Princess.
The evening brought together students and staff for a memorable night of music, dancing and celebration. The theme encouraged students to draw inspiration from bygone eras, with glamorous outfits and classic styling adding to the atmosphere.
For many students, the Ball was a highlight of their school year and an opportunity to celebrate friendships and achievements in a formal setting.
The Ball provided an opportunity for the CHS community to come together outside the classroom, with the evening characterised by laughter and dancing.
With its combination of old-world glamour and youthful energy, the “Glamour of Past Eras” theme proved a fitting choice for an evening designed to create lasting memories for students.
