ART SHOW – OUR ENVIRONMENT
On Thursday 16th June, Lake Cargelligo Central School held the Lake Cargelligo Central School Art Show – Our Environment.
Artistic Primary and High School students entered in some amazing artworks, under the theme of ‘Our Environment’. All were displayed in the school hall, which had been transformed into an art gallery.
Parents and carers were invited to come down at 12:45pm to meet in their children’s classroms. After a look around the gallery, parents and students enjoyed a nice lunch together from 1:15-1:30pm. After, the students were allowed to leave to play and see friends while the parents strolled through the gallery or went home.
The gallery stayed open until 4pm so any unavailable parents or carers could still come and visit the gallery with their children.
All students artworks were available for “purchase” from their parents with a gold coin donation.
A silent auction was also held for an amazing artwork created by local artist, Laken Pickering.
