Date: 2ND September 20.
The Financial Counsellor will be taking about what is currently available to farmers and what they need to have in-place to help them apply for grants, subsides and loans.
They will then be available for a one on one session to talk more privately about people’s financials and then will assist them further from there. Western Plains Regional Development Drought Support Officer Lee-Anne Denyer hopes if this initiative is successful, it will be able to move around to other towns within Lachlan Shire to make it easier to farmers to access.
Due to covid19 we will only have limited seat of 10 available.
“These sessions are to assist farmers build resilience and to help maintain a better bookwork system for the future to make it easier to apply for assistance when needed,” Lee-Anne explained.
