Western Plains Regional Development is seeking applicants to fill a part-time Project Officer position of 30 hours per week located in Condobolin.
The project is part of the National Suicide Prevention Trial and is funding through the Western NSW Primary Health Network.
The Project Officer will work with the Senior Project Officer Southern Cluster To promote the integration of suicide prevention planning, service design and delivery across relevant health and human services, emergency services, schools and community settings; They will facilitate the establishment of a Local Working Committee and ensure that high priority population groups are represented; and They will build knowledge, confidence and capacity of services and community representative to work together to plan and deliver high quality, evidence-based suicide prevention, crisis intervention and post-vention services in response to local needs.
Minimum requirements include Certificate IV in Community Services and must be able to provide a current Working With children check and Federal police check.
