Applicant should be energetic, honest, friendly and reliable. Good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to learn are essential.
Duties will include: dispensing prescriptions, serving patients in the pharmacy and serving customers of the Central West Credit Union agency.
Duties may also include preparing dose administration aids (Webster packs), liaising with aged care facilities and medical practices, local deliveries and assisting with stock management. Medical knowledge and customer service experience are not required, but would be advantageous. Familiarity and competence with windows computer systems is essential.
If no previous formal training in community pharmacy has been completed, on the job training will be provided, and further opportunities may be available for the right applicant.
Position to start mid to late June, 3-4 days per week, 9:00-5:30 weekdays and some Saturday mornings (one per month), 9:00-12:00. Further casual shifts will also be available.
